Neil Walter was founded in 1996 when two real estate aficionados put their heads together and combined their middle names. Bruce Walter Valentine and Michael Neil Hickey had experience in the real estate industry and were both working at Trammell Crow Company. They loved the business model that was in play and wanted to bring the same efforts to shine light on the local potential of the Tacoma area.
