The Wohnungsgenossenschaft Universität was founded in 1957, the first new building was built in the Südvorstadt. Since then, more and more residential buildings have come to it, also merged with us other housing cooperatives. After reunification, we got our present name - Housing Cooperative UNITAS eG, Unitas means unity or unity.
